This is what I ordered and I LOVE it! It's a Harvey's Seatbelt Bag. I saw a lady with one and could not resist asking her where she got it and have been wanting one ever since. No retailers in San Antonio, so I had to order it online (God, I love the internet, Thanks Al Gore for inventing it). It's made from seat belts (duh!) and comes in many colors and styles. This is the black large tote. Durable, big, easy to clean...what more could a working mom want? Maybe another bag.....

Not what I ordered
My Easter Bunny
Clean Bill
Emerson visited the pediatrician today for her follow-up to her never ending ear infection and got a clean bill of health. Ears look good, so no ENT for now. The last antibiotic she was on was hard on her tummy, but she made it and now doesn't have to go back til she is 18 months!

Beso
Emerson is now a kisser. She kisses all her stuffed animals, all the pictures in her books and would kiss the cats if they'd let her. The other day she gave me 22 kisses in a row! Sometimes her kisses are closed mouth, sometimes they are open mouth, sometimes they involve drool and sometimes a little snot. There's no rhyme or reason to how she gives a kiss....just whatever strikes her fancy at that moment. But no matter how she gives a kiss, it is ALWAYS awesome!

Yummy pink yogurt & Gummy pink eye
In other news, Emerson has been sick a lot the past 4-6 weeks and has been on antibiotics twice. She finished a course of antibiotics last Sunday and was doing great until this past weekend. She wasn't feeling herself, she vomited a few times (Sorry Dena!), was running low grade fevers and was very, very, VERY clingy. She had a scheduled MD appointment today as a follow up from her last ear infection and it was a good thing as the poor girl woke up with her eye's plastered shut, ala pink eye. So we un-plaster her eyes and head off to the pediatrician to find out that not only does Emerson have pink eye, she is starting ANOTHER ear infection! The pediatrician threatened us with the ENT, but we talked her into one more chance. Emerson has only had 4 ear infections in 16 months, and I don't think this is excessive for a daycare baby, so we are hoping this latest round of antibiotics takes care of the ear infections for the season and we don't have to add another specialist to Emerson's repertoire.
On a positive note, the girl has gained a pound since she was last weighed. I plotted her most current weight on the chart and while she is still underweight, she's not as underweight as before. We'll just keep up the Yo Baby....she needs it in more ways than one!
