I am embarrassed to admit that I started this stocking BEFORE Emerson was born, and just about an month shy of her 3rd Christmas, I have finally finished it. My grandmother made me a stocking when I was baby and I still have it and hang it every year. Now Emerson's stocking can join mine. way to go! it's beautiful! i'm just proud of you for doing it at all. we grew up with stockings similar to that and i told myself i'd make them for my kids. but i haven't even started yet! so i say, GREAT JOB!
