This is my first experience with my own blog, but I am very experienced with other peoples blogs. In the links section are blogs that I visit everyday. My husband's blog, a cool "Mommy" blog (Chrys & Mike (and Oliver :)) are friends in Dallas (Mike and the Dood met in college)), and Dooce is a blog that I discovered after linking to it off of one of the Mommy blogs. This woman has an incredible blog and is able to support her family from the ads on her blog. I wish I was as smart!
Today in the life of Emerson, she wore a new outfit. Her father picked it out (and put it on her)and it's too big, but adorable. It was given to her by Kris, a grad school chum of mine from Austin. When Kris and I graduated from our Master's program, Kris had received an informal offer to go to Shanghai (as in China) to develop a western curriculum for a nursing school. Seems the Chinese are trying to come out of the dark ages and modernize their medical system. Kris looked at me and said "You are also unencumbered, wanna go to China with me?". I was like "Rock on, that's why I got a masters degree!". After graduation, I didn't hear from Kris for a while and wondered what was up with China. Turns out that great minds think alike, and Kris was doing what I was doing :)....Kris gave birth to Baby Henry a few days after I gave birth to Emerson. We went to Motherhood instead of China.

Miss E is looking quite "fabulous" in her new outfit. I love that you've set up this blog, I'll get to get my dose of her everyday!
Love you guys, and kiss the girl for me.
